1 May 2021, Bas Kokshoorn was appointed Professor by Special Appointment in Forensic Trace Dynamics at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. The professorship is a collaboration between the Faculty of Technology’s Forensic Science research program and the Netherlands Forensic Institute. Bas will combine the professorship with his job as a principal scientist at the Netherlands Forensic Institute.
