The third Frontiers of Forensic Science session of the 2024-2025 academic year will be dedicated to Forensic Advice. The program still needs to be finalized but we do know that we will have great contributions from two valued members of the MFS Advisory Board.

The program and the poster are still being prepared but we would like to make you aware of the upcoming final Frontiers of Forensic Science session of the 2024-2025 academic year! This session entitled ‘At the Frontiers of Forensic Advice’ will be held on Friday, June 6th from 15:00-17:00 (C0.110, UvA Science Park) of course followed by a social drink offered by the CLHC and the Master Forensic Science (MFS) of the University of Amsterdam.

The program still needs to be finalized but we do know that we will have great contributions from two valued members of the MFS Advisory Board. Floor Dussel will share her experiences as forensic advisor to the courts and Jan de Koeijer will tell us more about the added value of interdisciplinary forensic investigations (IDFO) as a forensic expertise area at the NFI. Peter Hotchkiss will talk about the work of the OPCW and the importance of diplomacy, policy, and science to ban chemical weapons.

Mark this event in your agenda so you can join us at UvA Science Park at June 6th!

The poster announcement with registration link will become available soon so keep an eye on our site and newsletter!

As always, attending this Frontiers session is free of charge.
