Researchers from Amsterdam UMC, the Co van Ledden Hulsebosch Center at the UvA and the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), have developed a new method for determining the time of death at a crime scene with much greater precision. With the technique used so far, the uncertainty is several hours; the new research reduces this to less than an hour. The results of the research have been published in "Science Advances".
