PhD Theses The main instrument for forensic scientific studies within the CLHC is the PhD project as this not only yields output in the form of scientific insights (as published in peer reviewed publications) and new methods for forensic case work but also leads to a new generation of experienced and talented scientists for the criminal justice system. CLHC professors, forensic experts and scientists within the institutes continuously explore options for obtaining funding to initiate new projects. Regularly, project proposals are submitted within national and international calls. In 2019, in total 3 PhD students successfully defended their forensic thesis : By following the link, you are directed to the UvA DARE repository allowing you to access the full dissertation.
