This symposium will take place on the 17th of January 2024 from 14.30 to 16.30 hours at the Nicolaes Tulphuis (NTH) Amsterdam and will consist of an introduction about the ENFSI and the role of the fingerprint working group in the forensic field by two members of the ENSFI Fingerprint working group, followed by a presentation on the interpretation of fingermark traces in the criminal justice system by the Dutch Police and a presentation on the extraction of valuable chemical insights from fingermarks by the Amsterdam UMC.
