Are you a student working on a research project you are excited about? Then this is your chance to present your work to a wider audience!

As part of our upcoming IAI conference, we are hosting a special session exclusively for students: the Student Lightning Award.

Ten selected students will have the unique opportunity to showcase part of their research in a concise lightning talk (5 minutes) and via a poster presentation.

Who can apply?

Bachelor's and Master's students currently studying (or recently graduated) in the Netherlands and involved in a research project relevant to preferably forensic topics related to human identification, however other forensic topics are welcome as well.

How to apply?

Submit a short abstract (max. 250 words) of your research by June 27, 2025. A selection committee will review all submissions and choose 10 promising proposals. You can send your abstract, title, authors and contact details to clhc-science@uva.nl. More information is on the EU IAI site.
