Work Package 2: Data Science
The Data Science work package focuses on developing advanced algorithms and analysis tools to process and interpret chemical data fully automatically. By using machine learning and other state-of-the-art data techniques, we can discover hidden patterns and trends in the data that are crucial for combating drug-related crime. Another important objective is to signal which samples in the case stream deviate and need to be examined in more detail as they may indicate new ways of drug production and transport. Finally, we aim to realize functionality that indicates the extent to which different drug-related cases may be interconnected.
